I haven't had a lot of time to read but once I has a chance I didn't want to put it down.
Very nicely written.
A story of a family with money and power and a child that wants to do it on her own. A battle of love and no money but love conquers all.

This book was a bit silly. I’m not a reality tv person and I’ve never watched the bachelor or bachelorette, so I’m not the ideal person for this book. I read it because it had vampires and it was a vampire reality show. It was okay and if you’re looking for pure fluff, pick it up. But why don’t vampires ever visit the northeast? Why are they always down south?

Night Race is the second novel in the Vampire Reality Show series by Ashley R. King.

Plot:
Theo has been a vampire for over 300 years, but she is done with being one. She wants to taste food again and enjoy the sun. There is only one way to become human again, though, and that is a magical chalice that has just been announced as the big prize for the winner of Night Race, a reality TV show where contestants race around the world and complete challenges. Theo has been accepted as a contestant, as has Aiden who is human, but wants to use the chalice to become a vampire and avenge the death of his fiancée. Instead of fighting for themselves, though, the contestants are surprisingly paired. Theo and Aiden are teamed up and can barely bring themselves to work together, despite the fact that they are drawn to each other. But then contestants around them start dying and things become very serious indeed.

Night Race is a page-turner, but I have to admit that I didn’t love the turn the series took in this one, moving further and further away from the Reality TV angle that I find the most intriguing bit about it. How much you’ll enjoy it, will probably depend on how much you like this change.

Night Race by Ashley R. King is the second book in the Vampire Reality show series. There are two main characters. Theo who is sick of being a vampire and Aiden a human who wants to become a vampire after his fiancé was killed by a vamp. They both enter the Night Race, a reality show that involves locating a spelled chalice that can grant others a wish. But it involves both of them racing across the world, completing different tasks together.
The great thing about this book is the unique idea of using a reality show. This was such a fun take on the reality show. It was a fun, well paced book. I loved book one just as much as this one but this one had a bit more of the I enjoyed the sexual tension as much as learning about each character's history and heartbreak. That ending though...unexpected and makes me wonder what will happen in book 3… (más)
