Rather poor in genuine opinions;
collection of quotes from other books on Kieslowski's art (Annette Insdorf, Danuta Stok).
Page 15 gives false information on Kieslowski's death - it's said he died May 13, while in fact it was March 13. After page 15 you may not read - at least, not with trust.

I don't know what it is about Kieslowski that I like so much. Perhaps it's how much he crams into his films. This particular book approaches K. mostly from a metaphysical level, and reads more like a textbook. Still, it's a valuable reference for anyone who wants to understand K. Apparently he was a big fan of Tarkovsky, whom I have not been able to enjoy much, perhaps because his films are dreadfully slow-paced, even for someone like me, who watches a lot of European films.
