Sedona Pack series #6. Paranormal wolf shifter romantic suspense. Can be read as a stand-alone but better as part of the series since characters from previous stories may cross over. Spin off from the Moon series.
Gage Woods is a single father of three-year old twin boys. Her is also part of the Sedona pack which is always under threat of exposure or kidnapping by clandestine government organizations. One night when Becca Jones, the office manager of Wild Sedona Tours shows up at his house, Gage finally sees her as more than a babysitter when he finds out she’s his mate. Now they just have to figure out how this new threat from her uncle and what is means to the pack and his twin boys.
Threats and twists and connections in the next action packed threat to the Sedona werewolf pack. Becca worked for the Alpha before he became a werewolf, yet it is her uncle, a General being forced to retire, and telling her to get away from Sedona and her boss, that has everyone worried.
While under threat, Becca and Gage become close, giving Gage hope for the first time in years. Love on the run.
This book ties a bit of the past together with the current situation and almost seems a wrap up, but there are clearly several more books and unanswered questions and twists to come.
The children are adorable of course. I loved that Serenity shows up as well using her psychic abilities.

Serenity Harlow was rescued by her sister Madison and the Sedona Pack where she was being held in an experimental facility. Serenity is in a coma-like state and being cared for by various pack members. Ryker sits with Serenity during the day so he can work his regular job at the bar in the evenings. He found out that Serenity is his mate when they first saved her and he hopes that talking or reading to her will help. Serenity feels his sadness and uses her psychic abilities to start mentally talking to Ryker. As they build trust between them, Serenity feels safe enough to start moving and engaging with the rest of the pack. The pack must still protect her as enemies are always close and threatening.
Ryker takes to communicating mentally with Serenity quickly and easily, making it comfortable for her to transition to active. The threat to the pack is real but most importantly now, Serenity is no longer alone. Her sister, her new mate, the cute toddlers and the rest of the pack circle to protect and defeat the enemy. At least for today.
Fast moving adventure, fated mates steamy romance, and a psychic ability that will give the whole pack an advantage.
An excellent continuation of the series. I look forward to reading more soon.

While on a veterinary call, Cole Vega meets Madison Williams and realizes that she is his mate. As a werewolf, he never expected to find a mate. The fact that she’s human and that her brother was bitten and is a jaguar shifter, a fact she doesn’t know, means she’s off limits. Madison thinks she’s hearing a voice cry out for help when she’s jogging on the ranch. Cole knows that Madison’s life could be in danger from her boss and he is determined to prevent her from being hurt.
Action packed as Madison is plunged into changes she didn’t expect by moving to Sedona to be closer to her brother. His wife is hugely pregnant, the local vet is irresistible and she’s hearing voices. Unpacked boxes will probably stay that way as the romance gets steamy and old memories are unveiled.
Keeping the secret with toddlers around is a problem. Hahaha. 😂

Wendy Cain was bitten by a werewolf at the same time she lost her brother. She’s been working with a lab trying to find a cure for being turned into a werewolf. Slow results have her turning to Chandler Williams, an investigative news anchor, to tell him her story. She’s ready to expose to the world that she is a werewolf. But Chandler has his own secrets, and preventing her story from getting released is his first priority.
It’s so interesting how the worlds keep moving together with unlikely coincidences. Wendy has been on own as a werewolf and she picks another shifter to report her story. And the lab she uses to help her is using her for other purposes which the wolf packs are already aware of but didn’t know it was Wendy supplying the DNA. And then the emotional hits get bigger when she finds out her brother has children.
On the surface, it’s a single romance, but the world building is complex over multiple arcs with linear continuity.
I admired Wendy for her survival instinct that kept her alive and on her own for so many years. Her support of Chandler is impressive. They both had issues to work through and he took longer than I would have preferred but in the end it all came together.
The world building is sometimes subtle but is always leading to the newest twist. I can’t wait to continue the series.
Muse Chronicles series #2. Contemporary romance, slight paranormal edge. Can be read as a stand-alone however better as part of the series.
Hunter Armstrong is a Navy SEAL, driven and dangerous. He doesn’t really believe that his birthmark is a sign that he is to protect Callie O’Connor but she soon proves her claim. Hunter is caught in the middle of a mythology mystery that he never expected to be real.
Compelling and steamy. The team is building for the current Muses.
Sentinels of Savannah series #8. Conclusion. Paranormal romantic suspense.
Captain Ian Flynn is a loner, not by choice, but since he was voted captain, he felt an obligation to his men and his ship. In his eyes, that precluded friendship. The pirate crew had a code not to hurt innocents and to only steal what was needed and never from anyone that was worse off. Flynn also pledged never to share their immortality, thanks to the Holy Grail. All of his crew has found a wife and someone to share their lives with. Flynn has also fallen in love but he walked away from her, thinking he was protecting her. But his enemy knows who she is, and she is no longer safe on her own.
Misunderstood? Flynn has always been protective of his crew but they haven’t always seen it. From the reader perspective, he wasn’t a favorite, by any means. Apparently Flynn didn’t know how or even that he should be sharing more. Lily helps Flynn regain the friendship that he had with the crew. Of course there is danger, and Magic and lots of steamy interludes while Flynn and Lily figure things out in their relationship. The rest of the crew and Department 13 play a role in the danger from the secretive monks in this wrap up too. Plus a bonus Easter Egg crossover that is always fun to find.
A great conclusion to the series.

Vance used to be an assassin of the Nero Organization but changed his alliance to the Moon and then Sedona pack. Kaya has finally found her pack and with it, her mate. But Vance’s past is causing problems and the two have to manage many loose ends before they can move on to happily ever after.
Vance finally gets his true love. His past is dark but he strives to do the right thing to protect his pack. His family. His mate. There is a lot history and references to other organizations and super soldiers that exist even though Nero was shut down, including Vance’s brother.
Kaya is strong and independent and more, she will help Vance overcome his history. If he survives the past coming back.
Stressful, complicated, steamy and a winner.
🎧 the audiobook was done with an Australian accent for Vance which made his chapters fun to listen to.

Asher and Naomi were bitten and made wolf shifters under a sadistic leader. With that alpha destroyed, the pack needs someone to step up and lead. Asher is doing the best he can but not being a born wolf. Shifter, feels at a disadvantage. Naomi has the same background as Asher but is confident this he is what the pack needs. Outside threats forces everyone to reassess and make decisions.
The two baby monkeys, aka toddlers and future wolf shifters, steal every scene. They are simply adorable. There is some pack violence so it’s not all cookies and milk. Asher has to overcome his roots and Naomi went rogue for a second but all wraps up exactly as it should.
Love this new wolf pack and can’t wait to read Vance’s story which is next.
Sedona Pac series 0.5. Prequel and bridge from the Moon series. Paranormal wolf shifter romance novella.
Shane is searching for revenge for the death of his pack by a Nero assassin. He finds his mate instead when he’s shot in wolf form protecting a human veterinarian. Piper doesn’t know about wolf shifters but she does remember Shane from years ago.
A fast moving story that takes elements and characters from the Moon series to start the Sedona series.
Piper sees a wolf get shot and then finds Shane has stitches that’s she knows is her work. There is more in the world than human and she’s about to find out.
Edgy and sexy hot plus finding a place to call home, whether that’s a place or a person, or maybe both.
Technically well written.
It lacked a certain intensity.
I was a little confused about the muses as far as what they represented. All them them seemed to be linked to some type of poetry, except maybe Nia.
While I won't be continuing this series, I think others will like it a lot more than I did.
Sentinels of Savannah book series #7. Paranormal romance. Can be read as a stand-alone but better as part of the series. While not a cliffhanger for the couple in this book, the overall ARC still has unanswered and unresolved questions.
When Duke is held at gunpoint by a sexy mermaid, he knows his life is about to get interesting. Annika is looking for her missing comb and Duke knows where it is. Or at least, where is was.
Meanwhile there seems to a traitor in Department 13.
A fast moving adventure with danger from a traitor and a past enemy the Sea Dog crew thought was long buried. The story includes a sexy romance with a mermaid, anatomy differences explained and steamily dealt with.
A bit more about pirates Flynn and Eli is revealed, both I expect will play more of a role in the future. We also learn more about Department 13, the team there and the retirement process.
Overall an exciting story and addition to the series.

New Moon by Lisa Kessler
Moon series #8. Paranormal shifter romance. Best read as part of the series in order. This book wraps up the series arc bringing it full circle back to an event from the first book.
Sebastian has been subtle in his decisions to help his father and the Nero organization or undermine. Now he’s found his mate and needs to make a commitment.
Action packed conclusion. One of the children twins plays a key roll which makes for anxiety. The wrap up brings back characters from the previous stories where Sebastian was more enemy and now he has to answer for those actions.
I don’t want to add spoilers so will only say the wrap-up satisfied the overall arc and I don’t have to worry about them now. W
Moon series book 7. Paranormal shifter romance. Best read as part of the series in order.
Luke, feeling alone as the last single Pack member, travels to Sedona for a horse trainer job. He finds Raven with a broken down car and realizes she’s on the run. He’s soon working against a sadistic pack leader trying to rescue dozens of imprisoned wolf shifters.
Action packed suspense as Raven goes back to working as bartender and Luke tries to infiltrate the leadership, hoping to find a way to free everyone.
Raven was so brave. A bit defeated based on her experience, but still brave to not just keep on running.
Suspenseful, tragic (TG it’s fiction!) with a couple of steamy interludes.
I’m excited to move on to the conclusion next that’s been building throughout this series.
Moon series #6. Paranormal shifter romance. Second chance troupe. Best read as part of the series in order because of the overall series arc.
Logan walked away from Vivi years ago even though he knows she’s his mate. Now that she’s back home, he’s not letting her get away this time. Learning about shifters will change her world.
Action packed. A bit more violence from rogue jaguars. She forgives him pretty easily but their attraction is still strong. He waffles a bit too much for her being his mate. She is strong in the face of danger. Includes songs or poems the hero writes for her which is a fun twist.
Enjoying the series and will read on.
Moon series book 4. Paranormal shifter romance. Can be read as a stand-alone but better as read as part of the series.
Jason is the pack doctor and everyone looks to him for help and advice. But Jason is struggling internally with rage at not being able to heal his father’s coma. Rage that he didn’t know he was accidentally causing more harm to another. Rage that he can’t stop the threat to the pack. He deals with the rage by fighting in an underground ring with other shifters. When Kilani comes into his life, he needs to figure out his inner demons to keep her safe.
So self destructive! I don’t like physical violence for any reason and didn’t like Jason to start with from the prior book. But as I read this, I felt sorry for Jason and his inner anguish. At least as a shifter he was healing way faster than anyone would in the real world.
Kilani was smart and strong and caring. She deserved safety and love. Eventually the pair resolved issues both between them and with his father and the outside threat.
A romance that turned my opinion from “let’s skip this one” to glad I indulged.
On to the next in the series.
Book 6 of the Sentinels of Savannah series. Paranormal romance. Can be read as a stand-alone but better read as part of the series.
Caleb believes in science and has many doctorates behind his name. But he can’t explain the magic behind the Holy Grail. Or why he’s now dreaming of the Lost City of Atlantis.
Diana has lived with magic her whole life. Getting Caleb to suspend his stance on science will take some persuasive arguments.
The next exciting immortal pirate episode. This time they head out to sea in search of the magic of Atlantis. Poor Caleb. Science does not explain everything in this world. It was fun watching him move from all science to just accepting. His love of gadgets is adorable.

Aura from Department 13 is paired with immortal pirate Greyson to find and retrieve a mythological sword. Is she the chosen one?
Besides the magical artifacts, this book brings in more of the world with werewolves and demons. We also finally get the full details of the magic herbs that heal and keeps Agent Bale young enough to direct the government agency.
It was fun that Aura and Greyson connected on weapons. I did wonder where everyone else was when the canons were being fired. Not exactly a silent pastime.
It was new to me to learn about the cloth pieces in loading the guns and canons. Learning facts from books is so cool.
I loved Greyson being upfront about his feelings.
I’m excited to read the next book.

Drake is an immortal pirate and a carpenter by trade. He lost his nephew when the Sea Dog went down and it’s a loss that still haunts him.
Heather is a medium. She has helped Department 13 in the past and wants to help Drake find the Flying Dutchman since the nephew is haunting Drake with a killer banshee cry.
There is a lot going on in this book. Heather had a previous relationship with David and he feels a bit guilty for ghosting her. Heather’s sister wants the house that was willed only to Heather. And the banshees and ghosts are widening their victims to the Sea Dog crew as well as Heather.
Complex and detailed. Suspenseful and sexy. Characters from the the prior books are included. I enjoyed the romance and the electrifying height of the story but the betrayal was heartbreaking.
Definitely moving on to book 5.
Book 3 of the Moon series. Paranormal shifter romance. Best read as part of the series.
Nadya was bitten by a genetically altered wolf shifter. Her future is not bright. Gareth keeps his emotions buttoned up. Helping Nadya deal with her new wolf shifter ability though has him emotionally entangled and he will do whatever he can to help her stay alive.
Knowing her days are limited before she turns into a rabid killer is stressful. The Nero Organization is closely following the science and changes that Nadya is experiencing.
Nadya is a strong heroine facing her future with positivity and courage. Gareth was a jerk for running away when he found his mate. That is the beginning and obviously he comes back but it was hard to forgive him.
It was nice revisiting the couples for the previous stories. This series is keeping the family close.
I found endearing, the young twins of Adam (first book) being in this story, giggling and healthy and enjoying their time with their babysitters.
Steamy and suspense filled.
2nd book in the Moon series. Paranormal shifter romance. Best read as part of the series.
Sasha was a detective. Now because of an “evil” scientist, she is a jaguar assassin on the run. Aren knows Sasha is his mate as soon as they touch. But explaining a jaguar to a wolf shifter pack is going to be a problem.
Suspenseful. Hot.
I like the twins aspect of the world building. And it’s interesting that the twin brothers Adam (book 1) and Aren both end up with jaguar mates.
The overall series arc still has the Nero Organization as a threat to the shifters for the future books.
On to book 3.
1st book in the Moon series. Paranormal shifter romance.
Lana doesn’t know she’s a shifter when Adam finds her in a diner and demands to know what she’s doing there. Now she’s a mate? What is happening in this crazy world?
Cat and dog. Jaguar and wolf. A bit of humor in this world of shifters, killing predators and scientific experiments. I enjoyed Lana and Adam together. I especially liked a resolution near the end that I thought was perfect.
It is a bit of a cliffhanger on the overall series.

Night series #2. Dark Vampire romance. Best read in series order.
Gretchen Finch works for Lukas Smith. They are researching the Night Demon in the middle of a jungle. Though she doesn’t know it, Lukas is a Night Walker and their investigation into the ancient glyphs is drawing them closer to his fate and mass destruction across the earth.
Dark and twisted, this vampire variant story has a lot of death at its core as the large cast tries to find and defeat the demon. The demon is able to convince hundreds that their lives are not worth living as the victims find a way to kill themselves. It’s up to Gretchen and Lukas to figure out how to stop the madness and save the destruction of mankind.
Mass occult impact of the demon made me back step away from the storyline. There is a lot of history of the ancient rituals in the story. Gretchen is smart and loyal and pretty much saves the day. While this is a romance, that aspect is more perfunctory than enticing.
Evil madness must be stopped at all costs.½
