‘Visual Texture on Fabric’ by Lisa Kerpoe is a great new book. I have never seen such a detailed book written on using resists with Procion MX dyes, as this one. Kerpoe covers resists of all kinds, including using flours, sugar, wax, water based resists, oatmeal, and more. She also covers tools to use, practical advice about each resist, and trouble shooting. There are plenty of pictures of fabrics made using these resists to inspire you!
Visual Texture on Fabric is a good book for anyone who dyes fabrics, mixed media artists, and anyone just wanting to have fun!
