Reseñas

Compelling memoir by a man who, as a teenager, led a farmers' protest in Kenya and was imprisoned and tortured for his efforts, then came to the U.S. for college and later sought asylum. His collaborator is the Georgetown law professor whose clinic represented him through the frustrating -- and unsuccessful -- process. The personal story brings to life the shortcomings of our asylum system.
