Penny Kelly

Kelly depicts her first 3 years learning to work with nature as a grape farmer. She struggles to follow suggestions by the elves who live on her farm while at the same time working as a self-employed educational consultant.
This is not what I expected; I thought there would be more like Findhorn's account of successes. This book of the early years tells the challenges of being in transition, both as a person and as a farm transitioning from chemical ag to sustainable.
The final chapter is an info dump on the disaster our modern agricultural methods are creating for the health of people and the environment--nothing new, if you've done any reading on the topic. She concludes with a few pages of tips on how to contact nature spirits.… (más)
