However, the book has received good reviews and input by readers. The characters are strong and believable; the story is well-paced and maintains high-level interest. This first book of the Running Nowhere trilogy can be seen as a coming of age for protagonist Conor Kelman, but his attempt to "fit in" is compounded by attention deficits and impulsive behaviors. A must read for those who have experienced struggles of growing up, or just want a good read as they travel with Conor experiencing his joys and disappointments. Guaranteed tears, laughter, joy and heartache along the way that end with a love for Conor, and perhaps memories of a simpler time and place.… (más)
