I thought this book was a really great collection of recipes. The author included a lot of diverse recipes, but they were all really simple and easy to cook. I really liked the 2-hour chili recipe, as it was balanced in spiciness and savoriness. But best of all it was really easy to make! I highly recommend this book for a beginner chef or someone whooping to try something new but not difficult.

Each recipe starts with a title, short summary, color photo.
List of ingredients are included and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low sodium, low fat, low sugar and fresh vs. canned items.
Directions are given and there is no nutritional information.
Some recipes call for more than 25 ingredients, be sure you have them all.
There are a lot of different flavor combinations with the food I'd be interested in trying for ourselves.… (más)
