This book was unfortunately quite boring and dragged on. I initially got a few books for my daughter's 12th birthday which included this but she couldn't get into the story so I thought to give it a go before getting rid of it. The writing seemed dull and flat and Gia's character was stereotypical and one-dimensional. Unfortunately quite an uninspiring novel.

In some parts of the book it was funny and then in other parts of the book it read like a mystery, it was a little mixture of both. Mystery and suspense with humor thrown into it. Gia the main character I felt was very childish for her age, but then again she was a spoiled rich kid and spoiled rich kids tend to act very childish. Oh her bodyguard was so into himself, and acted like a little teenybopper himself, how he got the job of being a bodyguard for anyone is beyond me. It wasn't a bad book really, I.mean if you like mystery and suspense with a little bit of humor thrown into the storyline then this is the book for you. Good writing and the editing was a bit off in some spots but nothing major.… (más)
