This is a very good overview of the subject, brief, succinct and always mindful of the different and often opposing views held by Russians, Poles and Ukrainians.
I only missed an early explanation for the way he chose to transcribe the names (hiding it in the afterword is not useful). I would also like to know why he uses "russisch" and "russländisch", he never mentions if he intends a distinction in meaning.½
