Rishi Kapoor (1952–2020)

I'm a quite generous while giving ratings to books and this memoir of yesteryears' heartthrob Rishi Kapoor gets 2 stars. The good thing about this book (also the bad thing) is that it does not strain the brain; one can read it with the brain almost asleep... There are a few candid things written here, as can be expected from the title. But almost none of these things provide any insight into anything except for his dislike of many people and things; perhaps there is nothing there that's worth any insight. I just wonder how it would have been had he written this book himself instead of getting it done by a veteran journalist...… (más)
