Loved it! The ending was totally perfect. The only thing that really bothered me was the back and forth and Ashton's snotty attitude. Luca was the perfect male lead and gah, i just wanted to rip him out of the book and keep him in my pocket!

I was very surprised with this book! I didn't expect to like it that much when I picked it up at random this very morning, but once I started I couldn't put it down. Though at the beginning it was a little hard to like the characters, especially with Ashton's bitchiness, she eventually came around and the story kept getting better.

A very good, cute light read, perfect for a day in bed.

Alternately painful and hopeful, this roller coaster ride followup to Falling For Hadie has a lot packed into the story. Broken hearts, compassionate adults (Hadie's parents are the kind every teen wishes they had), grief, bad choices, mean girls, a guy whose the best possible person and a big surprise near the end. Very satisfying read.

3.5 stars

Katerina Lyrille is on the run to clear her name after being falsely accused of killing her headmistress. Learning that the key to her innocence is a mortal sword hidden somewhere back at school, she willingly returns.

Kat reunites with her friends to secretly search for the sword, which is proven difficult from the constant supervision of three guards; an angel, a demon and a mortal. Throw in a jerk of an ex, your entitled mean girl, a whole lot of sexual tension and a mystifying prophecy and you have yourself a juicy story.

Runaway Mortal was a very pleasant read and I absolutely adored the characters. Kat was a fearless, snarky and kick ass heroine whilst Loire was just downright sexy. But I also really enjoyed getting to know Anna, Misha, Veritas and Tyrone- especially Tyrone. My only disappointment and the reason the book didn’t receive a higher rating was that the story did fall flat in the end. I was waiting for the book to start escalating and for something major to happen but the story remained it's steady pace all the way to the last page. Other than that I did appreciate the take on demons/ angels/ mortals and am impatiently waiting for book 2.

I picked up Impossible because it looked cute-- I mean, isn't that cover absolutely adorable? So, I was expecting a cute (if sort of fluffy) romance. Turns out that this didn't fulfill my expectations at all! It turned out to be more like lust than romance, and well, it was actually kind of confusing. They were constantly back and forth with each other, and I don't really think that they even liked each other as people...which poses a bit of a problem in my mind.

Ashton was so stuck up and snobby. She was way full of herself, and you know that thing that gives you logic? Her's doesn't appear to be working because she says things that make no sense. For instance, she broke into his house to try and shut down his band practice, and when he asked her what she was doing there, she said (and I quote!) "I could ask you the same thing." By my calculations, she was in his house. You're the only one intruding, girl! Not only that, but she was actually a really mean character. She used Luca, and she did some very rude/mean things that made me dislike her a bit more. I could not bring myself to feel anything for her.

Which brings me to Luca: I don't understand the problem. He seems like an okay kind of guy, to tell you the truth. Ashton may have said he was hideous or whatever, but tell me that isn't a whole lot of judging. He sounded okay to me, and even though he had very simplistic chapters, I think I would've liked him if I ever met 'em. He seems sweet.

On from that, their love wasn't very well developed. It seemed like they were "in love" long before any real feelings happened between them. The ending just didn't work for me either; it seemed like nothing was properly resolved.

All in all, Impossible just wasn't for me. Maybe it'll be something you'll like, though, so if it sounds good give it a shot!

So after reading the synopsis, I figured why not? I could use a good romance. A girl and guy, from two different places falling in love. What could possibly go wrong? Everything. This book swept me off my feet and left me crying before the story ended.

Plot: Let me tell you that I should not assume when I’m reading a book exactly what I’m reading. Cause by now you think I learned my lesson. I assumed that this romance would be easy. And my god is wasn’t. Every plot twist and angle, just made my heart melt for the couple but also mourn for the couple. The build up to the last and final nail in the coffin did me in and I cried.

Love: This love should be given the chance to last forever. But what is so beautiful about this love is how short time was for them. GAH! I wish there could have been more time. In the moments that they shared love it was the best love ever. The kind the makes you swoon, the kind that touches your heart and won’t forget. The kind of love that survives even when people around you try to bring it down. It’s amazing.

Ending: What else can I tell you other than I cried like a baby. I even re-read the last few pages just to make sure I wasn’t imagining things. It was a bittersweet ending that I won’t forget.

Falling For Hadie changes your perspective on life and love. Love that comes at you fast when you least expect it. It’s a kind of love that saves you and gives you something new to fight for. Falling For Hadie is visually unique and great!
