Allegra Kane

This was a story more concerned with cheating than twisted business dealing, back stabbing and a bad behaving billionaire, which is what I expected. The story was okay, but the plot was a little choppy at times which did spoil the flow of the story line.
Lydia and Mark are struggling to get pregnant which is causing a strain on their marriage, to which they split. Lydia continues working on an account for a large company and ultimately meets their boss, billionaire Miles Stanton. He offers her room in his penthouse suite for her 2 wk stay and an affair begins. It's insta-love for both of them but Lydia feels the need to return home and give her marriage a second chance.

There's lot's of angst and mixed emotions in this story. Lydia was very flighty with her emotions, she changed her mind often with out much trouble. And I felt Miles was a little impulsive. Poor Mark was cast as a bad guy, his character wasn't portrayed in a good light, not well at all. And what happened to Weisner, Suzanne and Jane, their story seemed to disappear.

All in all Tycoon was an entertaining read with plenty of drama. The story was pretty good, and was my first by this author. I'd like to read more of her work and rate this one 3 stars.… (más)
