Unlike most of the Did Not Finish books, I am giving this a score. The author tried repeatedly to get me a properly formatted copy, but it never happened.

Outside of the formatting, there were problems with line spacing. It went from single-spaced to double spaced through the book. Pick one line spacing and keep it. According to the editors I know, 1.5 is preferred. Either indent five spaces, or no indentations at all.

To the story. I had read a good 45% of the book when the author sent an email saying there was a new file to upload. This is when the formatting problems began, and why I am willing to review based on what I did read.

It needs a lot of work. Much needless dialogue kept the story slogging as if through mud. I never really read a thing that had me totally interested in finishing it. I am not sure if the whole formatting problems just distracted from the story, but even before the format problems, I was not completely interested in the story.
