Dallas has a husband now and they have to do the deed or Ambrose will do it instead. Finding that they have more in common then they thought it becomes easier to be intimate.

But, Ambrose isn't done yet. He has even grander plans to build up the family name. Now he wants to get into politics. Well, not him, he wants Colter and Dallas to be the happy little family in the lime light. Neither one is happy about that and voice their opinions. Which, as we know with Ambrose, is a big mistake.

Will Dallas and Colter survive Ambrose's next round? Will Dallas's family?

Branded and thrown in to a horse stall, no clothes or covers, but Dallas still has some fight in her. Not enough though.

Colter knows what is going to happen to Dallas and his hands are tied. He can do nothing, but check on here in the barn. He gets there in time to stop 2 ranch hands from attacking Dallas....this time.

Colter sends the ranch hands on their way and Dallas is left alone for the night. What horrors would tomorrow bring?

Marriage? An heir?

This is a hard one for me. I really like the plot and I am rooting for Dallas and Colter too. I am waiting for and hoping that someone will either shoot, stab or poison Ambrose.

I don't want anyone to think I am sicko for giving liking this short story, but what can I say. It grabbed me and now I want to see justice.

This story had my heart thumping, teeth clenching and wanting to make like "McGruff" and take a bite out of crime. ;-)

Can't wait for the next part!
