Review of the Your Nickel's Work Publishing paperback edition (January 10, 2022).
I read this book as part of my participation in a jury for the 2023 Saskatchewan Book Awards. It isn't fair at all that a children's picture book should be in a competition with literary essays, genre fiction and poetry, but such is the nature of awards which are geographically based.
