A collection of old photographs connected with the history and development of Bingham County, Idaho. It includes such towns as Blackfoot, Shelley, Aberdeen and Wapello, but nothing related to Rockford, Thomas, Moreland or many of the other older comunities in Bingham County. There are some interesting historical picutures of the Shoshone-Bannock tribes from the Fort Hall Indian Reservation, as well as early views of Blackfoot and other towns. Very little text and many of the individuals in the photographs are unidentified. Dates are often best guesses. The interest is in the photographs, which could have been supported by a much more complete and accurate historical text.… (más)
