This survey book contains a table of contents, glossary, index, and list of websites. It is part of the Bodyworks series. Each chapter is a two page spread with a large labeled picture on one side and one paragraph of text on the other side. The illustrations combine photographs, diagrams, and drawings. This book covers the digestive organs from the parts of the mouth through the intestines. There are also two chapters on nutrition. This is an excellent beginning nonfiction book.
