This is a clear basic book intended for people who want to make practical use of heraldry in designs in their own work. It includes many black and white pictures and photos of early heraldry, especially on seals.

This is intended as a practical guide to heraldry for early twentieth century craftsfolk who might be incorporating heraldry in their own work, but it also includes more generally helpful explanations of basic heraldry and examples from the history of (English) heraldry back to the late middle ages. There are some good clear photo of older objects showing heraldic designs.
