Dexter Holland

A short collection of four stories, in a “Twilight Zone” vein. All bear re-reading as the final revelation in each of the stories cast new light on the detail in the tale. My favourite was possibly “Highway 109”, which deals with family breakdown and things left unsaid, culminating in a horrific meeting out on a dark highway late at night. Quick, undemanding, enjoyable, bite-sized reads. The four stories are:
