Wow! What a great story! This is rife with history, intrigue, and suspense. It is cleverly plotted out, with all the right bells and whistles! I am so glad that I chose to read Mark Henrikson's series, Origins. This book is all about ancient Egypt and it's fantastical storyline that ties in to the future.

This, in my opinion, is possibly the best series a beginner writer could ever write. The voice is clear and distinct and moves the story forward extremely quickly. Page turner-for sure! What I love most about it, is that it mimics history. It reminds me of Rick Riordan and his young adult series. It is a completely different story, following the storyline of history so you learn something, that is if you didn't learn the first time in school.

What more is left to say of this third installment of the Origins series?? Mark Henrikson is just an excellent writer! This story, as of the entire series, is intertwined with into recap of history. In my opinion, these are the best kind of stories. You get to live history in and engaging, entertaining way. Mark Henrikson certainly delivers!

This installment, has been my least favorite with a four star review. But, I have to admit, I am not very excitable with Nazi history. There was of course, far much more in this book then Nazi history. It falls in line with the rest of the books, and is an awesome read. My four-star evaluation, as opposed to five star on each other, is because this book is a little slipshod with its time line being clear. I must say, As much as I am excited to read the fifth and final installation of the series, I am also saddened. I'm trying to remember if there is any other series that I have read from book one to book ends. But I cannot think of any other. This was very enjoyable!

I am sad to say that I am finished with this series. That being said, this has been the first series I have read straight through. It is a wonderful story, laced with history for the learning. This final book in the series, tightly closed it up in quite a creative way. In such a creative way, it has sewn together all the truths throughout each book into the common theme of: the greater good.

My hat is off to Mr. Henrickson.

What a fun read. Book 2 for my 75 in 2015 challenge. Science fiction? History? Just a ripping good yarn? Well, all of these in a manner of speaking. Henrikson has written a series of books retelling our history through alien eyes. This first book in the series recounts the story of Exodus, explaining how and why the pyramids and the Sphinx were built, how Moses parted the Red Sea, why the children of Israel spent forty years wandering around in circles in the Sinai, and does it in a most enjoyable fashion. For you conspiracy theorists out there, we even have the NSA and NASA involved. This was Henrikson's first novel, and a very well written one it is. I was thoroughly caught up in the story, and look forward to the next in the series. Highly recommended!
