This is a hiking guide for walking the Jakobsweg (Camino) from Munich to Lindau. It includes links to GPS tracks that map the path shown in the book although these do not always accurately map to the actual trail itself. The book includes hotel tips and information about public transport access from the various towns along the way. Most useful is the wealth of information on the things to see and do along the way. The description of the development of the pilgrimage paths in the beginning of the book is outstanding. Finally, the book includes some wonderful photographs including photos of the author with her seven year old son who walked 100km of the trail with her.

I have not yet walked the trail myself and may have more comments once I have completed the journey.… (más)
