I read the first two books in this series a while before I got to Roustabout. I think I forgot some of the details about the characters and that probably made a difference in my enjoyment of this book. A couple of thoughts off the top of my head. I thought the Senator gave up protesting Tera's relationship without much trouble. He went from wanting to break Tucker's legs to just grumbling and complaining. I liked the whole found family aspect of this book and it is what I remembered liking in the first two as well. I would have liked more relationship building. It was a little too much insta love for me. Tucker's backstory was interesting and this book and series are more unique than a lot of romance books.… (más)

Second book in the Traveling series by Jane Harvey-Berrick - resolution to the cliff hanger ending in The Traveling Man. I liked the first book a little better than this one. I think what interested me the most about these books was the carnival setting and the found family aspect of the stories. Kes has made a family within the carnival community, but he can't help but want more with Aimee. He goes to her to spend some time and learn what her life is like away from the carnival. He is lost. Aimee needs to make a decision about Kes and what she will have to do to be with him. I did think that the story was good and I was fully engaged with it. I'm not sure if I will continue with the rest of the series or not, but I would recommend these first two books.… (más)

Cliff Hanger Alert! The second part of this story happens in The Traveling Woman. I loved this book enough to want to read the next one even though I despise cliff hangers and most of the time will not read the next book. I especially loved the beginning of the book when Aimee discovers Kes and the carnival and how they forged a friendship that they only got to visit for two weeks every year. Their romance was interesting and believable.
