This is a taut psychological thriller for YA readers. It's peopled with readily identifiable stock characters and the resolution is not unexpected, but the author provides several twists along the way. The telling sometimes skates very close to the edge of moralizing, however, and some readers may perceive judgement in the presentation. Still, the writing is solid and the tension high. Mystery lovers should enjoy this novel.

A great mystery. I loved the voices of the main characters. The banter between the sisters jumps off the page with humour and authentic voice!
