I have been an avid hockey fan for a number of years. I purchased this book around the time I started to get into the game but never got around to reading it until now. It was simple and informative -- sometimes to simple but it was literally written for someone brand-new to the game. The best parts were those that explained positions and strategies, I thought.

Great book for sports simpletons like me to help you understand the basics of the game and some of the nuances too. Includes info on some famous players as well. Very helpful.
