Harry M. Hagen

This is a collection of photographs of the St. Louis area, buildings and people, mostly from around the turn of the century. The photographs are quite nice in size and reproduction, but there is virtually no annotation, all are labelled but mostly in a very general way, and there is almost no dating. Still, the photos are interesting in themselves, and one may occasionally recognize familiar locales, if not buildings. A nice book that could have been much more useful with some referential digging.… (más)
