Twenty-six mystery writers combine their talents to create one story about a woman who is put to death after being wrongly accused of her husband's murder. The ending is not unexpected in this depressing story, which tracks the mystery and the lives of each character before and after the execution. The authors' voices and styles are blended well except for the beginning of a few chapters which may throw readers for a bit as the story changes authors. The best part of the story is the fact that proceeds go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.… (más)

No Rest for the Dead: Twenty Six Writers, One Mystery por Sandra Brown
I thought this was pretty great the story itself was ok, but I loved the collaboration of 26 mystery writers each continuing the same story. I’ve never read some of the writers, so it was great to get an idea of their style of writing.

No Rest for the Dead por Sandra Brown
You would think that 26 bestselling mystery writers could come up with an incredible plot, scintillating dialogue and an unforgettable read. Well, they didn't -- not in this story. It was very predictable, not interesting at all and very forgettable.
