I laughed out loud at the end of this book and am looking forward to reading it to my story time kids next week. It has bright simple graphics and just the right amount of words for the 2 and 3 year old crowd. There is a super fun twist at the end, that's the bit where I laughed, and a simple sweet message about loving your family. A nice message about not eating too many sweets and what happens at the dentist included too.

Simple, bold illustrations show a wolf getting dressed, piece by piece (underwear, t-shirt, socks, trousers, sweater, boots, hat, coat) before COMING TO GET YOU! Fun to read over and over again in a scary wolf voice. The extra-sturdy board book opens vertically instead of horizontally. The baby (9 months old) LOVES this book.

Summary: Book The Father Who Had Ten Children (Picture Book) By Benedicte Guettier. This book was about a father with ten children who would wake up early. Fight ten children to feed then,dress them, and take them to school. he then would go to work,after work he would pick the children up. They all would go home and he would cook dinner for ten childre, bath ten children, and finally put ten children to bed. One day the father decided he need 1 big rest leaving the children with grandma he went on a vaction. Only to reliaze something was missing his ten little blessing.

Personal Reaction: I thought this was an adorable book. I could also relate some what having two small children close in age sometimes feels as if there are ten. And the lonely feeling he begans to have I as well have that when my kids are away.

Classroom Extension:I would recommand reading this book the all children it is very colorful and with the socks flying in the air. The constant struggle to balance the children I think the children would find it fun.

Pre K-1 grades. Cute story about dinosaurs in which the reader is able to act out the sound effects as the dinosaur by putting his or her face in the hole of the book. A lot of dinosaur names to recognize.
