Morgan Greene

Scandi noir is one of my favourite genres, and this book is right up there with some of the best I have read even though it's written by a Britain.
A Police procedural serial killer story where our heroine on leave from the 'Met' accepts a request to return to her roots. Engaging and entertaining from first to last page, atmospheric descriptive at times you can almost feel the cold, and with more than enough twists for this reader to handle. The characters are superb throughout particularly brave fearless sassy smart DI Jamie Johansson, almost On a level with Lisbeth Salander. On several occasions the story turns in a few sentences from a simple straightforward investigation to an all action tense heart stopping thriller.
