- Edward Ignatius O'Connor was born in Holyoke, Mass 1886. His father also Edward O'Connor died a year later. His mother Margaret Martin O'Connor took Edward and his brother to Michigan where she was from. He married Anna G Fitzgerald in 1912 she was co author on some compositions. He worked as a music teacher in Detroit. He had one daughter Geraldine 1918. Arthur Traves Granfield was his pseudonym for composting. He also wrote a book on music.
