A collection of mostly humorous travel essays of varying quality. Several of them felt like anecdotes left out of a more interesting tale, like the one about the Californian woman and her mother who bought ridiculous amounts of warm clothing to go dog sledding for the first time, which never talked about either the dog sledding experience or even if their clothing choices were wise in the end. There were also a large number of typos (mostly of the missing or wrong word variety), which is always troubling in a (non-vanity) published book. If you just cannot get enough funny travel essays, then you'll like this one, but there are tons of better anthologies out there.… (más)
