Edutopia provides educators in formal and informal education environments access to a community of educators concerned with improving education. Edutopia provides educators information on models of teaching, connections to the education community through a consolidated blog stream, breakdown of resources by grade level, videos and classroom guides. The websites navigation is slightly convoluted, the layout provides users with the opportunity to browse and explore. The webpage includes advertisements, however they are education focused. At the bottom of the page, not immediately visible, is information and links to become more connected to the edutopia community and donate to the organization. Tags are used effectively throughout the website allowing users to easily find information on a specific topic as well as find currently popular topics. Social media connections are embedded into the site making the information easily shareable. This webpage is a highly recommended resource for professionals and parents invested in K-12 education.
