A splendid and careful work of translation of an illustrated text on the art of Card or Tablet Weaving in ancient Egypt that appeared in French in 1916, authored by Arnold van Gennep and Gustave Jequier, at a time of much interest in Egyptology. Excellent notes for the card weaver as well as the interested historian/anthropologist.
