In What is God Like, young children describes what God is like. The book is separated into three sections: The Love of God, Faith in God, and The Presence of God. The children compare God to things that are familiar to them. "The love of God is like a hug which makes you feel warm inside." Faith in God is like a little light shining in the dark, When you've lost your way it makes your heart thrill." "The presence of God is like the rain, The rain which refreshes us." The book could be used to describe God to young children. Explaining God to children can be difficult, this book is a light introduction that can open young children up to the idea of there being a God.
