Oh, sigh... I'm all for post-apocalyptic stories, however, this is a horrid mashup of western and science fiction. The storyline was jumpy, and characters were not really thought out, as to growth or future. Looking over the other reviews, someone thought that this would make a good movie, and I have to say, yes! One of the very few books that I would champion Hollywood's influence to stretch the lines.

´My first steampunk read. It took awhile for me to get beyond the first 30 pages but after that the pace picked up the pace. The book could do with a good proof-reader and an a good editorial eye.

This was a riveting murder mystery complete with robot-like humans and ingenious puzzle to solve! Two detectives are sent to figure out who killed the manor of an home that is literally in constant motion.
Along the way, a cast of many different characters comes into play and as you begin to learn their relationship with the deceased, you may think you know who the killer is, but, guess again. The plot flowed so smoothly and the characters were so well developed that I only wish there were more books like this.… (más)

A very different Story. Different but interesting, almost a Sherlock Holmes kind of a feel to it. Liked the town, and the people. Kind of wished it ended different, but like the end anyway.
