Review: This book was about a princess who was raised as a prince. (Horse riding, sword fighting, etc.) She was small and not as good as her brothers until she practiced every night. When there was a tournament to see what prince would get the princesses hand in marriage, the princess dressed as a knight and won the tournament herself. This is fantasy because it is a believable story, but never happened and was set in a fantasy palace setting.
Comment on use: This book could be used in the classroom to discuss gender roles and that anyone can achieve anything they set their mind to.
