That Djerke Hoff (the d, the second e, and the h are all silent) sure is full of himself. He's hired to rob a group of archaeologists. Cass and her crew are hired to protect the same archaeologists. Then some sexy, shirtless dinosaurs show up and foil everyone's efforts – all while prothletising for their god, Tingle.

The weakest story in the collection is also the shortest. Overseer 11-Dash-A is a sentient computer preparing a planet for terraforming. Or something. I'm not sure. This one wasn't as clean or coherent as the others.… (más)

Light hearted story of a symbiont tick and the donkey he shares a body with. Good although not terribly in depth world building. It was clearly presented and served the story well. The main character, Harold the tick, was a sweetheart actually. The story moved right along and I totally enjoyed it. The secondary characters were distinct and interesting. The was a low level of farce that didn't descend into ludicrous campiness so that was good. Although just at the very end there was a reference to rickrolling that seemed just a step too far and sort of jerked me out of the story.… (más)
