Milo James Fowler

I received this book for free in return for an honest review. I enjoyed following the captain in his adventures through space. He made me smile. I definitely like the longer shorts better because you got more of a flavor of Captain Quasar and his relationships with his crew. I wanted the short stories to be longer so I could get more of them all. Very enjoyable.

Sagging Saga

I don't often give up on books, particularly a series. I was so excited by the first one, I charged right in to Tomorrow's Children and quickly got bogged down in the ever present sand. I'm sad to have to give a negative review but this wasn't worth the time spent trying to read it.

After the Sky is not your typical Post-Apocalyptic story. As humankind is released from bunkers timed to decant them into a world where they can restart life, much has changed from the blueprint designed for them. From spirits that speak to a chosen few to monstrous mutants that cannibalize any moving flesh, the core group fights its way to a supposed Eden where life could begin again. Wrong! And this is only the first book.

An interesting, fast-paced short story. It went quick and was easy to read. Is it safe to leave the bunker after 20 years underground? Find out.

However, I got it as a freebie. I wouldn't pay the $0.99 regular price for the "book".
