Chuck Foster

I picked this up when I was in Seatlle filming a documentary for MTV on Kurt Cobain. I was living the dream, I was going to be famous, recognised as a wise and just spokeman for the last dregs of generation x. I loved Seattle, it felt like a city with a scene, loads going on, dozens of free newspapers, all sorts of music and arts. Maybe when I was famous I'd move there for a bit, write poems by a distant shore, explore the Pacific Northwest, enjoy the mountains. Anyway, the documentary never got shown, I never got famous, and I've never written enough good poems to fill a very small chapbook. Such is life.… (más)
