Good Western. Old movie with James Stewart also very good. I've seen it a couple of times.
The book is great without having seen the film. Much like Louis L'Amour.

Night of the Comanche Moon by T.T. Flynn was a rip-roaring western adventure complete with Comanche Indians, a wicked Spanish Don and a crooked lawyer out to steal the heroine's ranch. Of course there is also the rock-hard, handsome fellow who helps the young woman hang onto both her virtue and her ranch.

This was a fun and quick read with plenty of western cliches such as the naive younger brother, the noble Indian, the straight-shooting hero and the pretty woman with the deed to the ranch. The story reminded me of Saturday matinees with guns blazing, fists flying and good triumphing over evil.½

Will Lockhart hunts for the man who murdered his brother. Fine western that was the basis for Jimmy Stewart's best western film.½
