For young students an informational book with clear images and purposeful writing strongly effects how they understand the reading. This book in particular has clear photographs of the honey possum, how the honey possum eats, hangs and hides from predators. Instead of purely stating what the possum does the author chooses to ask the reader questions. "Who would harm him?" "What is he doing?" and even "How does she eat?" all questions located at the top of the page can be supported and answered by the photographs and words located below the question.
