As you might suspect, a friend gifted me with this book, which is a collection of sayings about friendship. Some are from secular sources and some are Bible quotes.

A hard backed book for little ones to look at what God made while you read it to them.

This is a very short and simple story that briefly describes what firemen do. It’s discusses how the firemen respond to the sound of the alarm, run to the truck and come help keep us safe. I think this is a great story to read to young children if the fire truck is coming to visit school or before they go on a field trip to the fire station.½

I love all the information contained in these pages, but for a toddler it's too much information. My toddler has no interest in turning these pages. I hope when she's older she'll enjoy learning about the animals described.

It's very short and sweet, I picked up a series of three tea related books for a dollar each (mainly for quick browsing and some decor). Only 40 pages but it's a sweet little thing. Filled with poetry regarding friends, short stories about people having tea together and the love of grandchildren, a few recipes, some scripture, and little pen drawings. I'll have to get the covers scanned as I can't find them online. What I came across from this one is I really need a tea cozy!

This is a short and quick read that is a very educational book for those who are interested in learning more about Christmas whether the symbolism or traditions that make up Christmas as we know it or both.

The book has Christmas quotes from various well-known people that follow well along with Biblical quotes from the King James verses about the Nativity. The book has no pictures but explains how various countries such as Australia, Mexico, France, etc. Definitely a starter for those interested in the history of Christmas.

Great little storybook that can be read to young children to Kindergarten. The book has roughly 20 words. The pictures are easily understandable and clearly related to the text.

The illustrations are brightly colored. It has a hole in each page of the eyes of the spider to see through from the back page. It is told in the third person. It is a seek and find book.It is a hardback pictre book with easy to turn pages. I really liked this book. It is really cute. It could be used as a learning tool, showing differernt types of animals to find in each pictre the spider meets something new.
Extension Ideas: Have the child to decorate their own butterfly; Do another search and find hidden objects in the pictures.
