Parenting Magazine Editors

A guide to toilet training your child, from the editors of Parenting Magazine, first published in 2001. It helps to take the stress out of the process for parents and thus for the child involved. Topics include:

- The stages of potty practice: encouraging regular habits, giving the child more independence, when to switch to underpants, using public toilets
- Staying dry at night: tips from experts and parents, helping a chronic sleep-wetter break the habit, when to seek help
The book includes an original illustrated story to share with your child.

While this book did not solve all our challenges the year we potty trained our triplets, it was a good detailed guide for parents. It helped us get up the courage to start the process, and was a very handy reference to keep checking back at different stages, and with different approaches needed for different children.
