A love story in a sport milieu. The jumper Lore Steinkopf is being courted by three men: the student athletes Karl and Georg and a Brazilian swimming champion, Barrada. At the Olympic Games, where Lore wins a gold medal, jealousy is brewing to the boiling point amongst the three guys. Barrada, though married, is so hot for Lore, that he neglects his training and loses the competition. Furious, he blames Lore and takes his car on a wild ride and rolls it over. Barrada is badly injured; troublemaker Lore just has her make up smudged. The other two men run the marathon against each other. Karl has to quit because he’s exhausted from running after Lore and eating too much “healthy” German food. Georg wins the marathon, but Karl gets Lore’s heart. (fonte: Imdb)… (más)
