Tried to watch Color of the Cross, with an African Jesus, but that one got caught up in race. Son of Man contemporizes the story in war-torn S. Africa. It was partially successful, though the teachings and the Jesus actor weren't really convincing. The filmography itself, the music and the angels are all wonderful. Excellent depiction of Satan too.
