Dennis M. Doren

Dennis M. Doren, Ph.D., is Evaluation Director at the Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center in Mauston, Wisconsin. In his Wisconsin State employment, he has assessed and treated sex offenders for the past 18 years. Since June 1994, he has been largely involved in the evaluation of sex offenders mostrar más specifically for the purpose of potential civil commitments. He served as an expert witness in the first such case that went to trial in Wisconsin in the summer of 1994 and has conducted and supervised more than 300 such evaluations since then. Dr. Doren has also served as a trainer and ongoing consultant for clinicians and attorneys in most of the states with active sex offender civil commitment laws and has performed sex offender civil commitment evaluations in over half of those states. His presentations concerning sex offender assessments have been included in international and national conferences.
