This is an excellent review book for comps, or for just a better understanding of the practice of different therapies in group.

During my counseling training, I had one class that served as an overview of major counseling theories, and one class that focused on group counseling. Never was it mentioned how one's theory would affect how one did group.

Until this great book.

It looks at about 12 different theories and applies them to typical group incidents. It's interesting to see not only how my theory of choice would (could) handle this event, but how other theories would as well.


Definitely recommend for any counseling student or professional!… (más)
