Dickins

A collection of 55 stories originally published in the Melbourne Times newspaper between 1984 and 1990. This is the larrikin, comic and passionate voice of a diehard Fitzroy fan, expressed in the Aussie vernacular. Dickins begins with stories of backyard footy games as well as suburban junior footy. Most columns are passionate commentaries on the Fitzroy Football Club, its immediate prospects, form during the 1980s and its battling history.
