my forthcoming (no really, it is) book is a guide to the use & occurrence of words & motifs, dates, places, colors, people, history, etc., found in all 38 of jack kerouac's books. it is intended to be used by those who would seek to demonstrate kerouac's unique & purposeful writing style, for which he still gets little credit. using HTE KEROUAC WORDBOOK as a guide, it's startling to see just how deeply kerouac's writing style was embedded in his work, & how conscious he was of the effect of his words in all of his books.… (más)
