I actually received a KINDLE copy of this book from the author through a giveaway he had here on Amazon and the following is honest opinion.

The endearing story is one, regardless of our age can relate to. Everyone has a birthday and when it comes around we want things to be somewhat different. But when nothing happens, and people tend to ignore the fact that today is your birthday, you get the impression it has been forgotten, don’t you?

And just like the young protagonist in this story, we, as adults become discouraged that our friends and even our spouses have forgotten this special day in our lives. But, luckily by the end of the day, the serendipitous event finally occurs and everyone shows up to celebrate it.

For having given all of his readers, both the intended audience for this book and their parents, a well-written story with on-point illustrations, which teaches a lesson regarding being disappointed with the hope of things becoming better and being patient, I’ve given this book and the author/illustrator team who have put this endeavor 5 STARS.

The one thing which puzzles me is in regards to the book’s description. Why does the author make it a point to say is a book about a young Hebrew boy, when there’s nothing in the story which indicates he is?… (más)
